Mike Buelsing first joined the Pacific Marine family of companies in 2010 as a mechanical engineer at PacMar Technologies.  In addition to corporate business development responsibilities, his current role includes oversight of Pacific Marine’s product subsidiaries and management of the corporate IP portfolio.

One of his notable projects was the planning, construction, and relocation of Pacific Marine’s waterfront operations to Honolulu Harbor’s Pier 24.  Beginning with an undeveloped parcel, the site has been transformed into a safe, efficient, and productive ship repair and maritime industrial complex.  Powered by its own microgrid with nearly an acre of solar, the site can operate indefinitely without utility power.

Mike received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and M.S. Mechanical Engineering from the MIT School of Engineering.  Additionally, he holds a 100 GRT Captain’s License.
